Many things in life are out of our control, but we do have some control over how much sleep we get. In spite of the fact that we have control, we regularly read about studies that reveal Americans are operating on far less sleep than they need. Physicians are no exception and are just as susceptible to the negative effects on body and mind from sleep deprivation.
